We had a very slow start today. Everyone slept late. We had coffee and breakfast, did some laundry, and then climbed up to the city to do a little tour by train. We walked into the walled city after to see the hugely fortified wall and its interior spaces. As we expected, there were tons of shops and restaurants. We met up with Helen and Michael to have an afternoon snack. We ran back to our B&B to get ready for our welcome dinner. It was in a beautiful hotel inside the city walls.
We came back to meet Michael and Helen who were staying there. We walked through the gardens. Then cocktails, dinner, and dessert. We are all set to get to the boat tomorrow. Early start!
