16 July 2025 – Wednesday – Off to Scotland !!!

I figure that many of you follow Mark’s blog so you already know I spent 2 weeks with Mark & Bev and Mark’s sister Kate and her husband Steve traversing the Trent Severn waterway. We had lots of fun and some very interesting navigation. 

Now that laundry is done and mail has been read, I am off to Scotland to cruise the western coast with a big group of sailors, some from the USA and others from various clubs in Great Britain, Scotland and elsewhere. 

I will be on a friend’s sailboat “ Visions of Johanna” owned by Bill and Johanna Strassberg, along with 3 other Cruising Club of America  members. It should be a very interesting and fun adventure. We already have a general itinerary for the 30+ boats in the fleet. Scotch tasting is of course part of the plan.
