After a whole day of driving on narrow mountain roads to reach the lake, we decided to have a quiet day to recover. We took a very short drive to Grenada Marine which is one of the bays below the ridge where the house sits. We passed a seriously demolished Lexus hanging into a ditch just off the main road. Drivers here are sometimes quite frightening. This one clearly had bad judgment.
We dove down the road to Laura’s beachside restaurant. The marina has a single dock and a yard with boats “on the hard” many of which haven’t seen an owner in a long time.
Lunch was a tasty tuna burger. We walked down the dock after to look at the 6 or 7 boats tied up. They were from many different ports. Just one appeared to have someone aboard. Although there was a beach in front of the restaurant, it wasn’t as nice as the one at La Sagesse. So we drove 5 minutes back to the other bay and went swimming.

Our afternoon and evening were topped off by a sunset rain shower with a full rainbow. Then the moon and clouds later were a sparkling sight with a distant sea reflection. We have been staying home to cook meals. It’s too scary to drive anywhere at night.
We plan to visit Belmont Estate which has a goat farm and cocoa been processing facility. It’s an interesting spot that should be an easy drive.

Much better activities than cuddling mo keys. Just saying…
