What a fun summer on Etoile. I went to Newport, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket,Provincetown, Gloucester and various ports along the way. On the way home a few weeks ago the motor for my furling headsail (Genoa) stopped working. There is no easy way to bring the sail in and out mechanically. So the yard is replacing the motor.
I quickly made myself available to sail with
Deb Gayle and her husband Michael Malone on their weekend from Marion to Edgartown in Martha’s Vineyard. It was a perfect sailing day.
We are on a mooring that gives us a full parade of boats entering the harbor.
Deb and I are drinking Rose. Nice end of summer afternoon.
