20 February 2022 – Sunday – SCHEDULE UPDATE !!

The captain and Expedition director briefed us on the weather outlook after we finished the day’s activities. A storm with 60  knot winds is headed our way in 2 days. So rather than stay another day in South Georgia and plow head on into that, we are departing now at full speed for the Falklands. Hopefully we will get ahead of the worst of it. We’ll spend an additional day in the Falklands.
