We arrived yesterday in Miami. Mark and Bev needed COVID tests so Nancy and I waited for the shuttle to the hotel. We were of course too early to get our room so we sat out at the pool at and had celebratory drinks. We checked in around 5pm, got organized, had an early dinner and went to bed.
We will spend the day at the hotel until we go back to the airport for our 12 hour flight to Ushuaia. We were all excited to find out that we get complementary beverages on the flight. It has been a complicated paperwork issue getting everything ready. We are looking forward to having the fun begin.
When we arrive in Ushuaia where our luggage will be sent to our rooms and we will be taking a catamaran ride around the area. Nancy has done this before on her trip to Patagonia. She said it’s great to see wildlife. Once we are on Resolution, we will depart for Antarctica.

I’m going to live vicariously through you and take this adventure by your side!!! Have fun…. Stay safe I think Miami was probably the more dangerous part of your trip Xxoo Btw… after Evan told me you won’t see polar bears… 😝what will you see? And will Argentina be hot? So many questions from your beloved girlfriend who didn’t pay attention in Geography class 😝 Love you
