I couldn’t resist the opportunity to see fields and fields of tulips while traveling on a river trip from Amsterdam.
My friend Debbie with whom I worked for 30 years asked if I would go, and I said sure. She is traveling with her twin sister, Barbara. I am traveling with Jen, who is the person who got me connected with the medical missions I do. It will be fun for all of us.
Jen and I are flying out tonight and staying for a few days in Amsterdam to see the city and museums. We arrive on the boat on Monday afternoon. Lots of side trips including bicycling in the area. Looks like it’s chilly and rainy. I packed for that.
