Going to BAJA!
As some of you may wonder, I was the only one of our crew of 8 who actually made it home from Guadeloupe on Saturday. My direct flight on Jet Blue to JFK was delayed about 40 minutes. We landed about 10 minutes later than scheduled and waited another 25 minutes for a gate…but I got home! I threw in a load of wash, changed my clothes, and went down the street to my favorite restaurant for a quick dinner at the bar. I returned to finish laundry and slept very well.
I am now waiting at JFK for my flight to Cabo San Lucas for a week of sailing a monohull with friends, Garet, Cynda, Marcel and possibly others who I haven’t met. It should be fun. The Gulf of Mexico is supposed to be beautiful. Stay tuned.
