07 August 2022 – Sunday – Last Day at RNYC.

Laundry, provisioning, cleaning and organization day in anticipation of leaving tomorrow. Maggie and Charlie, 2 friends of Mark and Bev, flew in to join us on the trip staying until we reach Halifax.
I ran over to Moya’s house to remove the steri-strips from her eyebrow laceration. She had a very nice healed thin scar.
Several boats went around to St John’s harbor, a 40 mile trip, to get a head start for the next day. It was very windy and rough. We were happy to stay in port.
In the late afternoon we got together with Moya and traveled into St John’s to see her townhouse. She has a beautiful 3 story place. She took what was a downstairs bedroom and is turning it into a temperature controlled wine storage.
We drank some wine, had H’ors d’oeuvres and went off to dinner. It was a final fun evening together.
